Several years ago I was gifted a copy of the book 5: Where will you be five years from today?
A page in that book changed my life. Well, two pages actually. Across two pages, in big letters, is the question:
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
I thought about that question.
I didn’t know.
I couldn’t remember the last time I had done something for the first time. Not for several years, anyway.
Then I realized that… I had stopped living. I had already died, and didn’t even realize it.
So I committed, right then and there, to do something for the first time every year until I die.
Here is what I’ve done for the first time since then…
