Tools

For task tracking and management, I use the app ToodleDo (affiliate link).

I especially like that I can filter tasks by a specific tag, so I can focus on tasks for one  project or business at a time without being distracted by anything else I need to do later.

Email

I use GMail for all of my various email accounts.

I use rules to auto-label most recurring email lists I’m on. That makes it easy to review and manage similar types of emails at one time.

For example, if I get behind on Newsletters, I can select that label, see them all in one list, and either skim them all quickly or just delete the list at once without having to find each one in the ocean of other emails.

Calendar

I use Google Calendar for all of my scheduling and appointments.

News

Have you ever wanted a news source that is as unbiased as humanly possible? I found one! (And it’s FREE!)

1440 curates and compiles the most important news stories and presents them in a daily email summary that includes links if you want to dig into something deeper.

They also often include good news stories, which is a bright spot in the day.

I recently discovered this one and am trying it out. Here is what they say about themselves:

We’re a non-partisan politics newsletter that gives you a 360-degree view on the news. No spin. No clickbait. Opinions from the left, right, and center so you can decide.
